Description

Campville 343 is the department’s air boat, providing the department with an all-weather, all-season water rescue vehicle.

344, a former ambulance, is the “boat hauler” or vehicle designated to move the air boat trailer to and from the scene.

In addition to this purpose 344 also carries all necessary equipment to conduct water/ice rescues, serves as an alternate command post for water related incidents, and provides shelter for the water rescuers.

343/344 are housed at Station 1.
