Campville 321

Description

Campville 321 is the Department’s tanker, carrying 2980 gallons of water. It is designed to haul large quantities of water to the incident, but does not carry the equipment to otherwise conduct fire attack operations.

This tanker differs from the ones currently used in the fire service in that it uses a vacuum-pressure system to fill or discharge the water. The tanker can be emptied or filled in less than 2.5 minutes. 321 is located in Station 3. It is driven by a 505 HP Cummins diesel engine.
